Integrating your data warehouse for ingestion lets you use data you've already setup and curated in your internal data warehouse within Rippit. This helps maintain a single source of truth vs recreating those metrics or objects within Rippit.
Contact your Customer Success Manager to discuss the details of the data you want to bring over and the required schema. The data won't be ingestible until it is in the Rippit specified format, but you can set up the access for the data in advance / in parallel to creating the tables.
To integrate your data warehouse:
Invite or share an account with the relevant data warehouse administrator so that they can access Rippit, they will need an admin account.
Click the settings menu in the top right of your dashboard
Click Integrations
Click Data Warehouse
Fill out the steps outlined for your flavor of Data Warehouse (Redshift, Postgres, Snowflake, SQL Server, S3, or Big Query)
Note for Snowflake - Snowflake Secure Data Sharing is also available in addition to direct connection by following these steps:
Share your Cloud Provider and Region with your Rippit contact
Your Rippit contact will share a Snowflake Account ID
Give that Account ID access to the tables in scope for sharing
Rippit will confirm that we have the expected access
